The 2012 Great Southern District Prizemeeting was shot over weekend 27 to 29th January. The weather was fine with the exception of overcast and blustery conditions on Sunday morning. However, this didn't deter the 96 shooters that made the trip to the Albany. Again the Great Southern District prepared the range to an impeccable standard and secured fantastic support from all sponsors, especially Barnesby Ford.

Congratulations go to the following winners:

Target Rifle was won by Robert Cuthbert (Darkan) with a score of 494.044, from Gerry Austen (East Perth) 493.048, then Mick Forsberg (Manjimup) 490.047.

FClass Standard was won by Bill Hallam (Subiaco) with a score of 579.036, from Graham Oates (Busselton) 564.032, then Malcom Hambleton (South Perth) 561.030.

FClass Open was won by Rod Shehan (Wugabup) with a score of 558.024.

Special Mentions

It is good to see a strong representation from our state team members in the top 15 badge postions.

George Girgal (Darling Range), who shot extremly consistently to win 6th badge.

Break down - 63 Target rifle, 28 FClass Standard and 5 FClass Open shooters competed.
