Congratulations to Gerry Austgen TR and Bill Hallam Fclass for their wins at the recent Frankho Foods and Hallam Rifles 2012 MDRA Prizemeeting.
The forecast rain didn't eventuate and the weekend remained reasonably cool, however the famed Swanbourne easterlies remained all weekend bar for a few hours late Sunday afternoon. This played havoc with some shooters scores, testing the wind and mirage reading skills. Although numbers were down compared to previous years, only 60 in total, the atmosphere on the range was friendly but completive with many familiar faces to be seen.
Gerry Austgen- East Perth won the target rifle with a score of 347.045. Gerry finished the weekend with two fabulous ranges shooting two 50.09's at 800 and 900 yards respectively, to edge out Chris Money from Subiaco on 347.045.
Congratulations also goes to Bill Hallam with a fine display of shooting to win the Fclass with a score of 408.032, 5 points ahead of Terry Sheedy of Beverly on 403.026.
