Dear Members:
As you are aware our esteemed Chairman, Philip Metcalf, passed away suddenly on the 28th December 2011.
The council considered it prudent to appoint a replacement immediately to continue the work started by Philip, so not to lose momentum or direction.
The Council convened in Albany on January 26th to make this appointment (please see offical letter). Resulting in an unamimous agreement to appoint Councillor Mary Brown to the postion of Chairman for the remainder of the current term.
I ask that you support Mary and the Council during this period.
